Sheffield 0 Gauge Group is an active model railway club catering for anyone with an interest in 7mm to the foot railway modelling. We have a general meeting each Friday evening starting around 7.30pm when we run trains on our layout, socialise and sit down for a cup of tea, finishing around 10.00pm. We hold regular themed running nights and occasional talks and film shows. There is also a Wednesday meeting from 11.00am to 4.00pm where we concentrate on construction work, developing and improving our club layout and other projects.  Our clubroom is shared with another model railway club and situated on the first floor above Carterknowle Methodist Church Hall. It contains our layout, a small kitchen and a sitting area for meetings and drinking tea. As the premises is church property, we have to keep the outside door locked to stop intruders gaining entrance. To gain access, ring the bell on the door and someone will come down and let you in.
